Hailing from the small town of Seneca, South Carolina, Jamie Wright embarked on her musical journey at the age of five. A star in the making, she serenaded her very first audience at Seneca Middle School, marking the beginning of an extraordinary musical career.

Throughout her formative years, Jamie's musical aspirations continued to grow, gracing high school stages with her voice. From 1997 to 1999, Jamie nurtured her vocal technique and performance skills at the esteemed North Carolina School of The Performing Arts, immersing herself in the world of opera as a dedicated major.

Post-graduation, Jamie's path led her to the “Big Apple”, New York City. A pivotal audition with Opera Ebony propelled her into the limelight as the principal vocalist, a role she embraced for over three years. Jamie's journey took her back to her roots in Greenville, South Carolina, where she has emerged as a cherished cornerstone of the upstate’s musical fabric, teaching voice lessons at the Easley Fine Arts Center until stepping out on her own and opening The Wright Note Vocal Studio in September 2023, located at 10 Michael Dr. Greenville, SC 29611.

Radiating joy and charisma, Jamie Wright now graces stages with an average of 240 performances annually. A true artist, she weaves her magic through diverse collaborations and projects, notably shining as the heart and soul of "The Jamie Wright Band". But her brilliance doesn't stop there—Jamie's captivating presence has illuminated numerous festivals across the upstate and surrounding communities, where she has headlined with her jazz project, "The Aretha Franklin Tribute Band".

Beyond stages and festivals, Jamie's vocal talents and their home on streaming platforms. Her dedication to the art and passion to mentor and coach other vocalists continues to expand, as she builds her legacy at “The Wright Note Vocal Studio”.
